Jaipur Robotics closes an $800,000 Pre-Seed Round and revolutionizes the Waste-to-Energy sector
Swiss startup Jaipur Robotics, a pioneer in artificial intelligence solutions for waste management and waste-to-energy processes, has announced the successful closing of an $800,000 Pre-Seed funding round. This milestone marks a decisive step in the evolution of the Manno-based company, which aims to transform the Waste-to-Energy sector through advanced deep learning and automation technologies. This achievement was made possible with the support of a major Swiss investment fund, alongside other investors who recognized Jaipur Robotics’ potential.

Artificial Intelligence applied to the industrial sector
Jaipur Robotics has already established strategic collaborations with leading European industrial players, offering cutting-edge AI solutions aimed at enhancing the efficiency and safety of waste-to-energy plants.
These plants convert non-recyclable waste into energy, but they face several operational challenges, including:
- The presence of hazardous objects (e.g., gas cylinders, concrete blocks) that can cause costly shutdowns.
- Difficulties in ensuring optimal combustion due to the variability of waste materials.
- A shortage of specialized operators to oversee and manage the waste bunkers.
To address these challenges, Jaipur Robotics has developed an AI-driven system that monitors waste pits in real-time, detecting hazardous objects before they can cause damage. Additionally, it provides advanced calorific value mapping of waste, enabling operators to optimize waste mixing for maximum energy production. By automating and digitizing plant management, the system significantly enhances overall operational efficiency.
“The successful closure of this funding round lays the foundation for Jaipur Robotics’ growth and expansion. We are grateful to TiVentures, which has believed in our project from the very beginning,” said Ermes Zamboni, Founder and CEO of Jaipur Robotics.
For Paolo Orsatti, Managing Partner of TiVentures, “Artificial intelligence applied to a well-defined vertical, a high-growth yet unexplored market, sustainability, and an outstanding team—these are the key elements that make Jaipur Robotics a perfect fit for our investment strategy.”
AI and sustainability: the future of waste anagement
Waste-to-energy plays a crucial role in the management of non-recyclable waste. Currently, around a quarter of the waste produced in the European Union is still sent to landfills, resulting in significant land consumption, high management costs, and health risks.
Jaipur Robotics aims to integrate artificial intelligence to make waste management processes smarter, safer, and more sustainable, delivering tangible benefits to industry operators and the entire ecosystem. With this funding, Jaipur Robotics will accelerate its growth trajectory and strengthen its position as a leading European innovator in the Waste-to-Energy sector.
