When sustainability meets innovation, that’s when Jaipur Robotics thrives. Featured in Forbes, StartupItalia, EU-Startups, and others, Jaipur Robotics is playing a key role in driving the automation and digitisation of the waste industry.
Founded only last year in 2024, the company is vost becoming a real player in the industries of Al, Robotics, Waste-to-Energy (WtE), and Industrial Automation. It’s Al-driven solutions have been developed to enhance operational efficiency and safety in Waste-to-Energy plants, using its own technology that aims to reduce unplanned shutdowns, optimise combustion processes and minimise operational costs.

Co-founded by Ermes Zamboni and Nikhil Prakash, both with backgrounds from ETH Zurich, Jaipur Robotics is a member of PREWIN, and ESWET (European Suppliers of Waste-to-Energy Technology.)
With a global team driving its innovation, Jaipur Robotics boasts a multidisciplinary team of experts in Al, robotics, and waste management. The company’s in-house Al research centre in Asia plays a pivotal role in developing and refining technologies, ensuring thot Jaipur Robotics stays ahead in the rapidly evolving field of WtE solutions.
Jaipur Robotics has risen to the forefront of the WtE industry almost instantly. Its Swiss technology has been more than revolutionary for WtE plants around the world that face numerous operational hurdles, including the detection of hazardous materials, inconsistent waste composition, and the need for optimised combustion processes.
Jaipur Robotics addresses these challenges with o cutting-edge software platform that delivers real-time, custom-built functionalities to optimise WtE operations. Take control of your wte operations with Jaipur Intelligence, that leverages potent-pending technology, developed through years of dedicated reseorch in computer vision and deep leorning, specifically engineered for waste recognition and management in plant bunkers.
The company’s solution transforms the complexity of waste streams into clear, actionable insights, enabling you to confidently make optimal decisions – anytime, under any conditions. This is done through three main functionalities: Object Detection, Calorific Value Mopping and Crane Automation.

Non Compliant Waste Detection
Jaipur Intelligence helps maintain plant efficiency by detecting hazardous and oversized waste items directly in bunkers and unloading bays, preventing blockages, fire risks, and compliance issues. Crone operators receive reol-time olerts whenever problematic materials are identified, with items clossified into three customisable categories: hard and oversized objects such as concrete blocks or metal bars, dangerous items like gas tanks or lithium batteries, and non-compliant waste such as tyres or construction debris. The system is highly reliable, spotting items even if they are partially hidden, delivering near-zero false positives from doy one. Beyond immediate safety, it also equips management with detailed reporting, analytics, and historical data to support proactive decision-making and continuous operational improvement.

Calorific Value Mapping
Ensuring stoble combustion is essential for efficient WtE operations, as it depends on consistent waste mixing to maintain calorific values, reduce emissions, and maximise energy output. Jaipur Robotics addresses this challenge with advanced colorific value mopping (Lower Heating Value – LHV), powered by deep learning and computer vision. The system provides crane operators with real-time visual heat maps that clearly highlight areas of higher and lower calorific values, enabling precise and effective waste mixing before combustion.
Unlike traditional approaches that only assess surface-level waste, Jaipur Robotics analyses the full bunker volume, occurotely identifying waste characteristics even below the surface. Seamlessly integrating with existing operations, the solution requires minimal setup, no ongoing calibration, and immediately enhances visibility, reduces uncertainty, and optimises waste handling for stable, efficient energy production.

Crane Tracking Solutions
Jaipur Robotics’ crane tracking solutions deliver precise, real-time monitoring and prediction of overhead crane positions and activity within WtE plant bunkers. Using advanced softwore and intelligent analytics, the system continuously evaluates crane movements and waste-mixing operations, enabling operators to optimise trajectories, reduce inefficient or unnecessary movements, and better manage downtime. By providing detailed visibility and actionable insights, Jaipur Robotics empowers plants to improve operational efficiency, lower maintenance and operating costs, and achieve consistently higher productivity through doto-driven decision-making.
It’s important to note that this clossification system can be fully customised to meet plant-specific requirements.
